At idontloveyouanymore we’re interested in speculative futures, alternative modes of reality and the intersection between technology, contemporary philosophy and the contemporary human experience. We’ve built towers of luminescent pixels, designed animations to dance across buildings, powered lights with the human heartbeat, and performed with a live fly with live reactive animation.

Our work has exhibited internationally including at Sundance Film Festival 2021, and we’ve been lucky enough to receive many accolades in our five years of work together, finalists for the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award, recipients of the New Creatives North Commission, winners of BFI London Film Festival’s inaugural Best XR/Immersive Art Award.

We enjoy the complex sticky place where our human navigations of the world meet the technological and political intricacies of society. Our queer experiences, our disabled experiences, and how they exist in our outside networks, are wrought into the stories we tell and the worlds we share. We believe this is what allows our audience to find the human connection in digital work, a form often perceived as cold and technical.

Much of our recent interest has been in the transformative power of awe. Our most recent series of works explore the digitisation of natural phenomena, choosing to take something awe inspiring from nature and recreate it, re-render it for a digital world. We are fascinated by the effect awe can have, with studies showing that experiences of awe can actively lower our heart rate, slow our breathing, change our perception of time, alter our perception of self, increase connectivity, and advance our reasoning skills.
